We are excited to announce that Georgia Southern University will be hosting its 15th annual collegiate climbing competition for the southeast. Southern Sendfest will feature climbing problems in the top rope and bouldering cave areas.

Join us for a shindig full of fun, food, music, prizes and of course quality climbing.
Every climber will receive a swag bag full of goodies provided by our sponsors. Prizes will be awarded to the top climbers in each division.
Schedule
Registration: 8am and 12pm
Pre-climbing Meeting: 8:45am and 12:45pm
*All participants will be required to attend a pre-climbing meeting 15 minutes prior to their Heat starting time
The event will be broken into two heats:
Heat Schedule
Heat 1: 9:00 am
Heat 2: 1:00 pm
Climbing Heats
Dyno Competition: 4:30 pm
*You will choose your heat preference while you pay your registration fee when registering online

Registration
Registration for the competition is open to all individuals 18 years and older. All competitors must fill out a Campus Recreation and Intramurals waiver online or upon arrival.
The entry fee for Georgia Southern Students is $20 and $30 for all other participants. You can register through the link below. Registration will be close the day of the event at 8am. Check-in must occur one hour prior to start of the heat.
Registration Fee Includes:
- On-site tent camping
- Restrooms and showers

- Awards to top men and women’s competitors in each division
- Fun, music, and post-competition social events
- The chance to meet and compete against collegiate climbers from around the southeast
Scoring Procedures
The Southern Sendfest competition will be a single round redpoint format competition comprised of the two disciplines as follows:
- The top 5 problems for bouldering
- The top 5 problems for climbing
Judges will be present to award the appropriate score and ensure fair and safe competition by all participants.

Official scores of our local competition will be posted to this page following the competition.
